Jaide Bateman
I am a local artist with a love for experimenting with different mediums. My current muse is oil, but I have displayed acrylics, alcohol inks, and watercolors as well. I believe that spontaneity is the heart of art, and where truth in our self can be found. Inspired by adventure, I am often hiking, kayaking, or lost somewhere in nature. However, as of late I've been pursuing figure and gestural work, and incorporating human form into the abstract.

This course assumes you know the basics about alcohol ink. We dive right into what I call "functional art" which is the mugs, coasters, and jewelry.
Learn everything there is to know about creating art that you can use in your home. We go through selecting the proper materials. Then I offer you many painting techniques to achieve different styles, and I teach you extensively about sealing the mugs for food safety.
